Our Story

We are a small team of husband and wife. We are passionate about food, wine and good company.

Before establishing ourselves in Australia, we had careers in various countries across the globe. Operating in Adelaide for over a decade now, we bring that experience into what we do here - the knowledge that we create.

A’Kash

Akash completed his studies in hotel management and catering. He got selected as a demi chef with luxurious five stars One&Only Royal Mirage Dubai resort, working with some of the best chefs as his mentors. Later he moved to Oman as a chef de partie for Trader Vics, learning Polynesian cuisine. He also got an extensive experience in some other countries and places.

In the Barossa, he works as a chef, entrepreneur, and restaurateur dedicated to his craft and pursuit of perfection. His distinguished career and tireless attention to detail make his food unique and set him apart. Working previously as an executive chef for many brands and world-class venues, now he wants to place himself firmly at the forefront of today's culinary world.

"My food is inspired by the history and splendour of Colonel William Light, the lavish foodie heritage of the Barossa region, and the uncovered culinary culture and place away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Visit us and explore your foodie horizon."

 

Shali

Shali is a versatile thinker and an intuitive doer, responsible for coordinating various types of events and client meetings, ensuring that all of the needs are satisfied and everyone is happy.

"I believe that the key to success is achieved through understanding your guest's journey and how I can help them take it."

 

TinTin

Our furry mascot, the cuddly joy bringer to our guests and us. He loves meeting our human and animal guests, greeting them with a jolly tail wag and a friendly nose boop.
